Manufacturing Benchmarks in Consumer Packaged Goods Operations

The consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry produces goods that consumers use and replace frequently, compared to products that are kept for a long time. Examples include clothing, toiletries and household items. Informance Solutions help a variety of CPG manufacturing operations drive improvement initiatives by reporting OEE and downtime losses in real time.
From March to September 2009, Informance studied 615 CPG manufacturing operations worldwide. Researchers used The Informance Plant Reporting Module (including patented analytics) to collect data, derive insight and discover correlations to operational success of tactical and strategic actions.
