INFORMANCE ANNOUNCES RECORD FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR-END ACCOMPLISHMENTS

NORTHBROOK, IL — FEBRUARY 4, 2005 — Informance International, a leading provider of manufacturing performance management solutions, today announced the successful conclusion of 2004, with record revenue for the fourth quarter ending December 30, 2004. Sales increased 157% over the fourth quarter 2003 and 211% quarter-over-quarter. The fourth quarter was highlighted by multi plant purchases from Clorox and Johnson & Johnson and the closing of a $6 million Series B financing led by Cargill Ventures.

Other significant accomplishment and highlights for the year include:

  • The addition of new customers such as Cargill, Chevron, Emerson, Magnet Schultz of America, Merck, NIBCO, Novartis, Pass & Seymour, Stroehmann Bakeries, World°s Finest Chocolate and Wyeth
  • Development of the Performance Partner Network comprised of consulting, value added resellers, and value added technology companies, such as Adaptive Micro Systems, A.T. Kearney, Cooper Engineering, Holland Automation International, Lean Value Solutions, Maverick Technologies, The ProAction Group, and TEC Engineering, whose services and technologies increase the performance-enhancing capabilities of Informance
  • Release of a Web Services-based, "Hub-Node", Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) built on top of the Microsoft .Net framework, to support global deployments at the Lowest Total Cost of Ownership possible. The new architecture supports the seamless connectivity with applications, such as SAP, to provide real-time manufacturing performance metrics for more effective supply chain planning and execution
  • Introduction of the IMPACT (Improved Manufacturing Performance through ACTion) methodology that insures the successful technical installation of the Informance application, and additional value-add services that help drive adoption, action and higher levels of manufacturing performance
  • Expansion of Informance°s global presence with implementations outside North America in countries such as Australia, France, Netherlands, Thailand and United Kingdom
